Jinli Ancient Street is a vibrant, 550-meter pedestrian lane in Chengdu that blends Three Kingdoms history with Sichuan street food, crafts, and opera—essential for an authentic cultural immersion.
Visit before 10 AM to beat the crowds, and walk to the middle of the street for better food and prices. For the best photo of the archway, stand on the small bridge just past the entrance. Skip the overpriced snacks at the entrance; try san da pao and bo bo ji from mid-street vendors.
