October is one of the best months to visit Guangzhou, with comfortable temperatures, lower humidity, and less rain. However, the first week includes the National Day Golden Week, which brings massive crowds and high prices.

Pack light layers, as days are warm and evenings are mild. A light jacket or sweater for evenings is useful. Comfortable walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.
