Lhasa Weather in May

May is one of the best months to visit Lhasa, with warm days and cool nights. Rainfall is still relatively low, and the landscape is green and vibrant. Tourist numbers increase, but it's not yet peak season.

Pack layers: short-sleeve shirts for daytime, a sweater or fleece for evenings, and a light waterproof jacket for occasional showers. Sun protection is crucial. Comfortable hiking boots are recommended for outdoor activities.

May is a great time for trekking, but be prepared for sudden weather changes. Book permits for restricted areas well in advance. Respect local wildlife and avoid disturbing sacred sites.
