November marks the transition to winter, with colder temperatures and very little rain. Days are sunny but crisp, and tourist numbers are low. It's a quiet time to visit, but some facilities may be limited.
Pack winter clothing: thermal layers, a down jacket, warm hat, gloves, and scarf. Sunscreen and sunglasses are still necessary. Bring moisturizer and lip balm for dry air.
Some tourist sites may have shorter opening hours in November. Check ahead. The dry air can cause dehydration, so drink plenty of water. Altitude sickness can still occur, so take it easy.
